A bone scan with planar (First row - left - posterior view, middle - posterior view, right - anterior view) and tomographic images (Second row - axial, third row - sagittal, fourth row - coronal) demonstrated intense focal uptake in the posterior elements of the L5 vertebral body bilaterally.
