Contrast:
IV contrast, at a dose of 2cc/kg, should be used if the mediastinum
needs to be clearly visualized.
Technique:
10 mm thick contiguous axial slices from the thoracid inlet to the
base of the diaphragm.
Views to Take:
Soft tissue and bone windows should be filmed.
