Contrast:
Nonionic, dose is 2 cc/kg of patient weight to a maximum of 150 cc
Technique:
Hand inject contrast, when 50% is in, start scanning
10 mm thick contiguous axial slices from the xyphoid process through
the symphysis pubis
Film lung and soft tissue windows
Views to Take:
Film the lung, soft tissue, and liver windows
Inspect the bone windows
